The Combined Cadet Force - Thetford, Norfolk. 1963

Al-Fa Magazine - 1963, page 14 “Specialist courses are becoming commoner in Cadet training: three N.C.O.’s have attended Army N.C.O. refresher courses”.

Looking surprisingly “refreshed” after the week that made them tough. Cpl. Lamont (back row, end right), together with Cpl. Grace (the tallest in the middle row) survived a week in Thetford, Norfolk with this assortment of tough looking cadets from all over the country, in ‘Real Army’ conditions just like “Bad Lads Army”. The front row middle five were ‘Real Officers’. N.B. The third Cpl. (Harrison?) was from another platoon.
